The Front Porch, Mental Health Urgent Care will be closed for scheduled maintenance until 10/10 at 6am. Walk-in supports are available at our Newport office during normal business hours. Our 988 Crisis Lifeline and Mobile Crisis services are available 24/7 for support.

Standing Committees

Vermont requires that all mental health agencies have advisory panels to guide, provide feedback, and inform agency policies and systems of care. Community members 18 and older can join a Standing Committee. Through lively monthly meetings with guest speakers, members learn and connect with those who need services, provide them, or support family members.

Standing Committees Provide:

  1. Program oversight: Ensure that services meet requirements, standards, and community needs.
  2. Quality and improvement: Review outcomes and feedback to support continuous improvement.
  3. Policy and practice guidance: Advise on program policies, practices, and regulatory changes.
  4. Communication and accountability: Elevate key issues and successes to leadership and to the board.

Current Standing Committees

  • Adult/Substance Use Disorder Programs
  • Children's Program
  • Developmental Services Program
